This Chris Craft, named Star Dust, was originally purchased in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and was brought to Lake Tahoe by Fred Kehlet later in the 1930s. From 1932 to 1941, Chris Craft made only 62 27’ Custom Runabouts. Following a series of boat show and regatta appearances in the 1980's, "Miss America X" was comprehensively restored by Mayea Boatworks in the mid 1990's and has been on permanent display since this time.
